Mr Gavin McGuire
Managing Director
Gavin brings 20 years experience in the mining sector, spanning most regions across the state.
He is a Nyungar man from the Ballardong Country. Gavin entered the industry at age 17, as a licensed plumber/gas fitter contractor and has had experience across the residential, construction, mining and industrial sectors. He is proud to lead Koormal Group as an indigenous owned business, bringing capability and culture together.
Mr Steven Derrick
General Manager
Steven is the founding Director of Bodmec and has over 29 years experience in the mining, construction and Mechanical repair industries.
Steven entered the industry at age 15 and completed his apprenticeship at Worsley Alumina Boddington Bauxite Mine. Prior to starting Boddington Mechanical in 2009, Steven worked across the Pilbara and goldfields with Rio Tinto Iron ore, Downer EDI, Byrnecut Mining, CJD equipment, Westrac and Eltin.
Mr David Palfrey
Business Manager
David has been involved in the finance and administration field for over 15 years, with experience in the public practice (business advisory) and commerce sectors.
Prior to joining Bodmec, David spent a decade in the mining, oil and gas sectors, where he held senior management positions, responsible for financial management and working extensively on strategic planning and procedural implementation.

Office Manager
Jennefer has 30 years experience in commercial business office management, with roles including:

Mr Edward Faherty
OHS & E Consultant
Ed has over 10 years of on site HSE operational and managerial experience as a health and safety professional. His broad hands have been involved in the direct safety supervision and management of many major shut down operations.
His experience includes working with various client mining and construction sites in Western Australia, and also with companies BHP, Rio Tinto, Newmont, Worsley, Diploma Construction, and G4S Papua New Guinea.
Mr Edward Holt
Workshop Manager
Having been trained in all aspects of workshop and machine safety, Eddie has decades of experience working in the automotive and mining sectors.
Completing his light vehicle apprenticeship in 1983, Eddie has progressed to the role of workshop manager and provides technical knowledge and expertise to the business.
